We are only a few weeks into 2023, and Phoenix Truck & Crane is excited to welcome two new employees to our team. We welcome Emma and Ketki, who have joined our administration department and already well into their training.
Phoenix has a culture of promoting from within whenever possible, but there are times like this, when the ‘right’ fit can’t be filled internally. We are excited to be able to provide employment to these two local, smart, and dedicated individuals and can’t wait to see them bring their previous skills and education to the positions they’ve accepted.
Ketki has just finished her education towards her Administration Professional Certificate, so this job opening came at the perfect time, for her and Phoenix. Her new role as administrative support will allow her to put into practice everything that she learned during her studies at Vancouver Community College. Emma comes to Phoenix with experience working as an office administrator. Her previous experience combined with her thorough training; will ensure she succeeds as our new billing administrator.
While we look forward 2023, we can reflect on the past year and the achievements, accomplishments, and many exciting business partnerships it brought us. Our President and General Manager received recognition as the Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year, and the company relocated to our new office space in Port Coquitlam. We participated in many exciting events such as the Skills Canada Competition and Buildex Vancouver. Our trucks, cranes and operators were hired to work on flagship events such as the Vancouver Christmas Market and the Vancouver Christmas Tree lighting presented by Amacon, and delivered and lifted countless panels of glass, air conditioning units, hot tubs, roofing materials, and so much more.
We welcome Emma and Ketki to the team, as well as others that may come on board in 2023. We are prepared and optimistic for this new year and look forward to working with you.
