Who Is Excited About the Honda Celebration of Light?

This Saturday marks the kickoff of one of Vancouver’s most beloved summer traditions, the Honda Celebration of Light, and we at Phoenix Truck & Crane were thrilled to say have played a behind the scenes role in helping bring it all together.

Whether it was logistics, heavy lifting, or working around the event schedule, our crew was all in. There’s something special about helping prepare for a celebration that brings the whole city together, and now, we are just as excited to kick back and enjoy the show as spectators are!

Before the fireworks even begin, we are already having some fun! We held a poll in our office on who our staff thought would win this year’s Celebration of Light. Our team made their picks, and here’s how the early poll is shaping up:

• Yukon – 36%
• Quebec – 40%
• Nova Scotia – 24%

Of course, the shows haven’t started yet, so we’ll be holding another poll after the sparks fly.

Whether we are moving material or marveling at the fireworks, we feel so lucky to have this happening in Vancouver year after year, and we can’t hardly wait again to see the sky ignite over English Bay.
