Proud to Play a Part in St. Joseph’s Parish Improvements

After a Thanksgiving weekend spent reflecting on what we are grateful for, it felt especially meaningful to start the week by helping a local parish take an important step forward; removing its non-functioning church bell.

Today, our team and our 40-ton stiff boom crane, arrived early at St. Joseph’s Parish for a safety orientation before proceeding with the delicate job of safely removing the church bell from the tower, and then the tower itself!

Established in 1912, St. Joseph’s Parish has been part of our Tri-Cities community for generations and remains an active church today. For its parishioners and Pastor, Father Mariano Barreto, this project represents an important milestone after years of fundraising to make these improvements possible.

We spend our days lifting everything from construction materials to heavy equipment, but every so often, a job like the one this morning reminds us that what we do can also help a community move forward with something that holds a special place in its heart. Seeing the excitement as this long-awaited project finally got underway was a wonderful reminder of just how much having the right tools can mean.

We are grateful, once again, for the opportunity to put our people, equipment and expertise to work on a project that matters to our community. And we wish the parishioners and Father Mariano Barreto all the best as the improvements continue!

HERE is a short reel of our time at 140-148 Moody Street in Port Moody.
