Phoenix has been contracted by West Coast Sign Service Ltd. in the past, to hoist signs into place. Below are a few photos showing our 45 Ton Stiff Boom Crane doing the work at two different sites.
Using our 45 Ton Stiff Boom, our operator hoisted and installed a sign. Maneuvering around overhead power lines in a busy intersection.
Phoenix was hired by Norsteel Buildings Ltd. to install an 80’ Gantry crane in their new building (Varsteel) in Delta. Using the 160 Ton, it was lifted off the truck, 35’ up and installed inside the warehouse. With the low headroom inside the warehouse, the jib attachment was required.
Phoenix was contracted by Kingston Constructors to assist in the expansion of the Mission Bridge. Using two Knuckle Booms in a tandem lift, our operators lifted and lowered pre-stressed concrete beams into place. The crane work was done with a low overhead due to power lines.
Phoenix was contract by Ponte Bros Contracting Ltd. to lower concrete vaults into place. Using our 80 Ton and 160 Ton cranes in a tandem lift, the operators maneuvered on a busy downtown street, between buildings and under power lines, to lower the vaults below the ground.
