How a Cookie Crumbled Its Way into Our Hearts (and Trucks & Cranes!)

SMILE COOKIE WEEK IS HERE!
Every year, we proudly participate in the Annual Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign, and it’s quickly become one of our favourite traditions. Last year, we purchased over 300 cookies in just one week in support of Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation – and it felt so good, we just had to do it again.
Well, it’s only been 3½ days, and we’ve already purchased and shared 408 Smile Cookies (yes, already!). Our cookies have made their way to clients, business partners, truck drivers, crane operators, and yes… even a few of our executives were caught with frosting on their fingers.

This amazing initiative has been everywhere this week – on the radio and in Tim Hortons locations across the Lower Mainland. But in case you haven’t heard: 100% of the proceeds from each $2.00 Smile Cookie goes directly to local charities. Not a penny goes to Tim Hortons. Isn’t that incredible?

It’s simple, it’s sweet, and it’s meaningful.

Funny moments of this week’s Smile Cookies Campaign? Oh, there have been many. From people commenting that the pink frosting isn’t quite as pink as it used to be, to shippers’ over-the-top reactions when we surprise them with a box full of cookies. But the best one? Our CSR/Marketing person was stopped twice in parking lots by curious onlookers wondering why on earth someone needed so many boxes of cookies in their trunk. Those moments were not only fun, they were also great opportunities to connect with new individuals and share the story behind the campaign.

Anyway, if you haven’t already, go grab a Smile Cookie. Do some good and/or spread some joy. And if you see someone walking out of Timmies carrying a mountain of boxes – it just might be us.
