A Tradition of Community, Connection, and Collaboration

Supporting the annual Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament has been a long-time tradition for Phoenix Truck & Crane.

Years ago, many golfers knew they could count on us at Hole 4, where our team spent the day grilling smokies and burgers for everyone making their way around the course. Over the years, a couple of our team members also joined the tournament committee, helping with planning and bringing ideas to make the tournament even better, gathering prizes, setting up on the day of the event, and supporting the volunteers stationed throughout the course with food and breaks.

While our role has changed over the years, our commitment hasn’t. In recent years, we have been proud to sponsor breakfast, helping golfers start their day with a hot breakfast sandwich, coffee and water before heading out onto the course.

This year’s tournament was another wonderful one and a good reminder of why we love being a part of the Tri-Cities. Tri-Cities isn’t just where we work – it’s where relationships are built, friendships grow, and local businesses, charities, and organizations come together to make a difference.

On Wednesday, it was so special to reconnect with so many people who make this community special. We had the chance to congratulate Mary and Terry from Talitha Koum Society on their well-deserved Business Excellence Award, catch up with clients and industry partners, learn about new organizations doing incredible work, and see so many familiar faces supporting the Chamber. And of course, we can’t forget that our Vice President had a fantastic day on the course golfing alongside one of our crane operators, Tyler and Dave from the BC Lions.

A big thank you to the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce for another fantastic tournament, to Emily and the team at GreenTee Country Club Westwood Plateau for making the morning run so smoothly, and to everyone who helped make the day such a success.

We are grateful to be part of a community that supports one another, and we are already looking forward to next year’s tournament.
