Now Hiring – A Full Time Warehouse/Yard Assistant

Scope

In the role of Warehouse/Yard assistant, you will be responsible to clean, organize and maintain our warehouse and yard. You will be responsible for loading and unloading cranes using a forklift and helping to maintain the indoor and out outdoor storage facilities. The job duties vary daily and require working outside all year round. Most importantly, you are required to communicate daily with supervisors, crane operators, customers and delivery drivers, therefore the right candidate will have a positive attitude, will be a self-starter and excellent listener. This role is an entry level position, with the opportunity to learn the crane industry from the ground up, offering the right candidate the opportunity to train as a crane operator.

Job Description Details

• Load and unload freight
• General ongoing warehouse and yard maintenance and cleaning
• Maintain an organized warehouse and yard – ensuring product is stored/labeled correctly
• Willingness to work outside all year round
• Various other duties as required

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Minimum Class 7 Drivers License
• Experience operating a forklift an asset
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well with others
• Basic computer skills
