I can’t believe it’s been over 25 years since I sent my first Phoenix truck out on the road. Through the years, that truck has grown into a fleet of over 150 owner operators and company owned cranes. I am proud to say that today, Phoenix Truck & Crane is leading the industry in safety, as we are now a COR certified company.

During my time in the transportation industry, I have seen freight needs and the ability to serve them change. When my first truck hit the road, the traffic was lighter and gas prices were a lot cheaper. The rapid growth of people in the Lower Mainland has put a lot of pressure on our infrastructures; the highways, bridges and tunnels are a struggle to navigate, but our dispatchers and drivers strive to move product quickly and efficiently. We take these factors into account, and constantly strive to broaden our products and services to provide for the varied needs of our customers.

I’ve been fortunate to own and operate this business in the Tri Cities, and I believe that it’s my responsibility to give back to the community that has been so generous to me. We’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with some exciting charities that are important to me and my staff. Helping raise money and awareness for the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation, Ruben’s Shoes, KidSport and Cystic Fibrosis Canada to name a few.

It’s taken a lot of hard work to grow Phoenix into the company that it is today, by a team of hard working employees and owner operators. I wouldn’t be here without their dedication and without the support that we have received from our customers that have stood by us even during unstable economic times. We are always looking ahead, and are excited as we continue grow and discover more ways to provide dependable and safe transportation and crane services.
