Halloween can still be a positive experience!

Halloween is finally here! If you’re heading out this year, it’ll require some extra care to ensure the safety of you and those around you. Here are a few tips to safely enjoy your night.

  • If you’re dressing up, try to incorporate a mask into your costume.
  • If you’re handing out candy, wear a mask and get creative with the candy distribution to keep a safe distance from the trick or treaters.
  • And if you’re heading out with the kids, choose costumes that are bright and reflective so that we can see you – our trucks have bright lights, but in the dark it can be challenging to see you from a distance.

As for the drivers, please keep it slow tonight and expect the unexpected. Make sure your headlights are bright, and remember that trick or treaters have the right of way at marked and unmarked crosswalks.

No matter how you choose to celebrate this years ‘different’ Halloween, have fun and be safe!
