A new local landmark in Vancouver – Trump International Hotel & Tower

Being in business for over 25 years has given us many opportunities to be a part of the construction of local landmarks, ones that have changed the landscape of Vancouver; including the new Trump International Hotel & Tower.

The $360 million building designed by architect Arthur Erickson opened today, reminding us of the time we spent delivering and hoisting products on West Georgia Street during the construction. The twisting luxury tower made of glass did not only require experienced crane operators to hoist panels, lift gravel or even unload crates, but also efficient drivers to deliver materials to site. Our technical representatives spent hours coordinating all the logistical elements that were required, such as city permits and safety protocols.

Phoenix Truck & Crane works hard for all our customers on projects both big and small, and are proud to have been called upon to help build the second tallest structure in Vancouver. Can you even imagine standing atop this building that stands 616 feet high?!
